A lovely honey, courtesy of the University of Guelph's Honey Bee Research Centre's  colonies on Thorah Island, located in the southeast portion of Lake Simcoe and only accessible by boat.

The U of G maintains hives on this isolated and pristine island, where no other bees are kept, for special projects on the improvement of honeybee health and as an isolated mating station for their Queen bees. Your purchase helps support valuable research done by the University.
