One of our newest and most noted "Drip" Pillar designs.
The Gwelf Drip Pillar candle is becoming one of our most popular. And you probably wonder why we call it "Gwelf"? No, not Guelph, as in the South-western Ontario City. Here's why ... We were asked by Larry MacDougall's Publishers to make the Medium version of this candle as a reward for their KickStarter Campaign, to fund his 2021 book "Gwelf: The Survival Guide". It's a whimsical book, filled with Larry's gorgeous art, about a fantasy world of anthropomorphised animals. And, YES, we have a limited number of copies of the Book available for sale in store for your gift giving.
This Candle measures 4 3/4” high x 2 1/4" wide. Made from 100% Canadian Beeswax. The matching Medium Gwelf Drip Pillar is also available (3" high x 2 1/4" wide), they make a very nice pair.
If you are interested, we even sell the silicone candle mould for this design so you can purchase our Beeswax in bulk and make your own candles at home. This design is called the Rustic Drip Pillar. We carry all your candle making supply needs: moulds, beeswax, wicks, tabs, filter, equipment.
CANDLE BURNING TIPS:
- keep your wick trimmed to 1 cm in length (trim before each burn)
- burn Beeswax candles for at least one hour during each use
- the first time you burn your candle let a small pool of wax (about the size of a quarter) form, then blow your candle out and let the wax harden. This "primes" your wick and will allow your Beeswax candle to burn more efficiently all throughout its life
- keep your candle dust-free, but do not wet the wick during cleaning
