Donations made to Bees Are Life are a valuable contribution to our annual "Queen Bee" fund.
Every year we purchase a number of Ontario, locally mated Queen bees, to add to our beeyards' genetic diversity. Your generous donation helps support this effort, and also supports the work of local Ontario Queen Bee breeders. In 2026, local Queens range in price from $45.00 - $65.00 each. Please consider giving up one coffee and muffin, and instead help fund this initiative by donating $5,00 online.
In addition, in 2025 our customers at the Humber Bay Shores Farmers Market rounded up their purchases, and from those proceeds we were able to purchase 5 Queen Bees.
