Whether you're making splits from your own hives, transporting bees between your yards, or selling nucs (an Ontario Permit is required) these are a great solution for all your nucs.
Made of 3mm polypropylene, corrugated plastic, these 4 frame reusable nuc boxes are weather-tolerant, water-resistant and durable. Comes in 2 pieces, separate box and lid.
There are two ventilation holes pre-scored into the box, one in the front panel and one in the back. For longer term storage of bees you'll need to insert your own screening (not included) in these end panels for increased ventilation.
Inside the bottom of the box are built-in frame guides, which keep the frames from moving and always in their proper position, maintaining "bee space". Frames sold separately.
Ships flat, assembly required. Requires tape. Instructions not included, but there are many instructional resources available online.
